The Person

The Person

I'm Huy — born and raised in Vietnam, now building software in Ho Chi Minh City and running mostly on coffee.

For the past four years I've shipped web platforms across healthcare, legal-tech, and enterprise-event work — most recently leading frontend for AI-native healthcare products at Naver, where there are fewer bugs but far higher stakes.

I care, maybe a little too much, about the craft: scalable architecture, design systems teams actually adopt, and interfaces polished down to the motion. This whole site is me quietly showing off.

Off the clock, you'll find me deep in anime, hunting for a good playlist, or losing an argument with Bông — my tuxedo cat and unpaid code reviewer, who, if you look closely, may have wandered onto this page too. 🐱

I build web platforms that stay fast, accessible, and considered from the first product spec to the last production alert, with AI brought in only where it earns its place. The rest is caffeine and stubbornness.

Naver Vietnam

Naver Care (AI symptom-triage) & Naver Healthcare (PHR home suite) — Vietnam & Korea

  • Key member building Symptom Editor Admin — a visual drag-and-drop tool letting the clinical team design & publish branching medical questionnaires themselves, turning multi-day engineering requests into self-service.
  • Built authoring safeguards: validation catching broken question paths, a simulation mode previewing the patient experience, and version history with a review-then-activate workflow.
  • Delivered the user-facing Naver Care Symptom Checker — an adaptive questionnaire with resume-after-refresh progress, serving public + hospital-partner flows in Korean & English.
  • Delivered frontend for Naver Healthcare's first PHR product, BodyReport (InBody), shipped on time for the P1 launch.
  • Drove design-system standardization across a large multi-app codebase — a shared component library adopted by sister teams.

InjuryEx — multi-stakeholder legal-tech & healthcare workflow platform

  • Bootstrapped InjuryEx from zero — defined the frontend stack, architecture, and conventions later adopted as team standards.
  • Led the frontend team: sprint planning, estimation, mentorship, and code-review culture across a multi-party domain.
  • Designed solutions for complex patient/lawyer/doctor/pharmacy workflows, incl. automated ANZ & Xero payments with SMS/email notifications.
  • Authored internal VSCode extensions standardizing recurring tasks; contributed full-stack (Python, FastAPI) when velocity required.
